We will explore gender, sexuality, and health in America over time and in terms of contemporary issues and controversies. Topics will include gendered experiences of disease and illness; gay, lesbian, transgender, and intersex identities; women's health including reproduction; men’s health; and the intersections of race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, disability, and diagnosis in relation to gender, sexuality, and health.
