This course is an introduction to particle physics and astrophysics. It covers quarks and leptons and their interactions, conservation laws and symmetries, gauge theories and the standard model of particle physics, the expanding universe, dark matter and dark energies in the universe, nucleosynthesis and stellar evolution. Students are assumed to have basic knowledge of quantum mechanics and special relativity.
