This introductory motion picture course is familiarizes students with dramatic narrative movie production (shot on HD) from interpreting the screenplay through location production techniques and post-production. It provides students with a solid understanding of how standard movie production processes and techniques are used to effectively communicate ideas in Dramatic Narrative productions (any genre, comedy to drama). Students work in teams of four to seven to produce two short films as well as participating in two in-class dramatic narrative film productions.

Lab Fee required.
