Comparative survey of Lain and Greek grammar with historical analysis of those features that the two languages share due to their common origin as Indo-European languages. Reference to the major characteristics of Indo-European languages in general. Selected aspects of the comparative and historical grammars of Greek and Latin, focusing in particular upon their phonological development from Proto-Indo-European.
