This is an introductory course to the Czech language and its culture.

The course structure provides a balanced approach integrating all four language skills with emphasis on the firm control of the sound system. Students participate in language immersion in class as well as by participating in special cultural events:

  • guest lectures
  • Czech food workshop
  • Pysanka workshop
  • film screenings.
