In this course’s familiar workshop format we will read from what you give us, and what you give us should be no less than 15 poems this semester. My focus in this workshop will be on exposing you to international poetry through in-depth analysis and imitation. This exposure will happen through your readings and presentations of poets from the assigned anthologies. As some of you are beginning to work on your theses, we try to develop poetry projects through research, planning and formal experimentation.
