PHRMACOL 614 uses a combination of textbook and literature readings and class discussions to present students with a study of the physiology and pharmacology of the autonomic nervous system. Topics include neurotransmission in the peripheral nervous system, and select adrenergic, cholinergic and serotonergic drugs.

Prerequisites: Biochemistry
