One previous course in Statistics. Graduate standing and permission of instructor.
May not be repeated for credit.
Primary Instructor:

This is a two-term course with PSYCH 614 in the Winter term, and this course is a prerequisite for PSYCH 614. Students will gain a conceptual understanding of the standard statistical procedures used in psychological and social science research as well as a practical skillset for implementing the procedures in standard software packages. The course will focus on analysis of variance and regression.

Course Requirements:

Student evaluations will consist of online quizzes, homework assignments, and two exams.

Class Format:

Instruction methods will include group lectures and data analysis demonstrations, and hands-on data analysis and discussion opportunities will be provided in optional sections.
