Primary Instructor:

The purpose of this course is to train students in the technical aspects of psychological assessment, with a particular emphasis on intellectual, academic, and memory testing for adults. A primary emphasis will be placed on the identification of an assessment framework that can be applied in various clinical situations. This framework will emphasize the context of assessment, including history and culture. Additionally, specific issues and types of knowledge needed to evaluate and utilize psychological tests will be presented.

Course Requirements:

Students will be required to evaluate at least two clients during the course, including report writing.

Intended Audience:

This lab class is intended for graduate students within the clinical psychology area.
