Primary Instructor:

Focus of this course is on the biology of stem cells, their importance for organ formation during development, maintenance, tissue repair and disease, and how tissue engineers are harnessing these cells to replace damaged tissues and organs. Proposal writing included as part of the course (alternatively offered without proposal-writing for S/U).
