Primary Instructor:

This is a course in advanced quantum field theory. It will cover two central and important areas of modern theoretical physics, namely conformal field theories and supersymmetry.

Course Requirements:

Students are assumed to have a background in quantum field theory equivalent to PHYSICS 513: Quantum Field Theory I and PHYSICS 523: Quantum Field Theory II.

Class Format:

Some active student participation can be expected, including student presentations and elements of peer assessment (incl. of homeworks). There will also be an emphasis on scientific communication skills.
