Enrollment restricted to first-year students, including those with sophomore standing.
May not be repeated for credit.
Primary Instructor:

This course will examine the politics and culture of recent American social and political movements of the left and right, including Black Lives Matter, the Movement for Marriage Equality, Occupy Wall Street, the Dreamers, the Tea Party, and President Trump's populist revolt. Readings will be drawn from academic publications as well as from mainstream and online media.

Course Requirements:

Course requirements will include short papers and a team-based multimedia presentation.
