Primary Instructor:

This introductory course provides instruction in strategies for spoken and written communication, and strategies for understanding spoken English in academic and social settings. Other areas addressed include understanding formal and informal use of language in academic settings, interactive listening skills, lecture comprehension, pronunciation and vocabulary development.
