ITALIAN 231 (completed with a minimum grade of C- or better); or assignment by placement test. College or university transfer students with any prior study of Italian must take the Placement Test. Only the placement score and not language coursework completed at a previous school will determine placement.

Primary Instructor:

In this course we will explore Italian grammar through Italian comics. We will learn about the history of comics in Italy and we will analyze several comics produced in Italy. We will focus on both words and images and through them we will learn more about Italy, its language and its culture.
