Primary Instructor:

This seminar is designed for personality/social psychologists who would like to develop their scientific writing skills. Readings will focus on the process, practice, and mechanics of writing. Students must have a specific writing project (e.g., a manuscript, review paper, grant proposal) that exists outside of this course but is not yet completed. To benefit from this course, students should be comfortable sharing their written work with others, receiving feedback from their classmates on their writing, and providing constructive feedback to others.

Course Requirements:

Course evaluation will be based on participation in class discussions, several written assignments, revisions of those assignments, and weekly peer reviews.
