Description

This seminar will explore theoretical approaches to understanding personality and politics; attitudes, beliefs, and ideology; decision-making processes; national attachment; and prejudice and group conflict through the close examination of the relevant scholarly literature. Both historical and contemporary approaches in social psychology, personality psychology, political science, and sociology will be covered. Most of the readings will be available as library reserves.
