This course is designed to give students valuable experience and practice reading original Sanskrit texts from an assortment of classical Indian genres, such as poetry, drama, law, and philosophy. Students are assumed to have a competency in Sanskrit equivalent to at least two years of college-level study.

Undergraduate and graduate students with the equivalent of at least two years of college-level Sanskrit
