CHEM 209 is a 1-credit course for students in the Comprehensive Studies Program that focuses on successful strategies for learning organic chemistry. In this course, you will work in small groups focusing on working problems that are designed to emphasize core concepts as well as key problem-solving strategies. In addition, you will work on developing skills that are useful in other disciplines and in the real world, including the strategic use of resources, goal setting, self-reflection and incorporating feedback into your learning, group work skills, and identifying real-world connections to the content. The course content will follow the pace of the CHEM 210, and the work we do together will reinforce your success in that course.
