The philosophy of philosophical pedagogy. What should our goals be, as philosophers, in teaching undergraduates? What content, and what techniques, would best serve those goals? As academic philosophers, we tend not to radically rethink what and how we teach: we are often content to inherit techniques and curricula from our forebears. The point of this seminar is to actually bring our philosophical skills to bear on the question of what we should be up to in the single aspect of our professional lives that, for many of us, consumes most of our time and energy.
