Description

This course is for junior and senior political science students to apply for placement with Michigan state legislators, Michigan senators and members of congress, the Michigan executive, federal and local courts, interest groups, legal professionals, private sector governmental affairs offices, and the media.

Acceptance into internship program is based on application and personal interview.

Juniors and seniors majoring in political science

Class Format:

The course involves 12 hours of work per week in placement office. The course work entails weekly online class discussion entries, several personal interviews/papers, and four evening seminar sessions with the program director.
