Description

Adapting the Personal Essay: Who says you can’t make a movie with your phone? In this class, we will read, analyze, and draft our own personal essays, with the aim of adapting them for the silver screen. We will look at first person documentaries, and discuss what might be required to bring an essay to life. And then, we will adapt our own essays into short films. No prior editing experience or equipment required.
