This course is designed for students with a fairly extensive background in Spanish who have already taken the equivalent of three/four terms of language but still need further reinforcement in two or more linguistic areas and are too advanced for second-year intensive. The main focus of this class is the discussion of primary source materials of a literary, cultural, and political nature pertaining to the Spanish-speaking world, as well as the review of advanced grammar. Students work towards proficiency in listening and reading comprehension, language structure, and composition.
Course Requirements:
Daily class attendance is required. Students attend co-curricular activities at least three times a week. At the end of the semester students must take the Spanish Proficiency Exam, which tests the four skills: writing, speaking, reading, and listening.

The course meets four times a week and is complemented with individual tutorials and group reviews.
