Description

Part of the department sequence in modern Turkish, this course is the continuation of TURKISH 102. The goals of the course include increasing knowledge of vocabulary, facility with grammar, and improving written and verbal communication. The aim is to further improve proficiency skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing based on ACTFL guidelines. Students will furthermore survey examples of Turkish TV shows, movies, literature, music, and current events. By the end of the semester, students will be able to read and understand authentic texts.

Course Requirements:

Evaluation is based on class attendance, participation, assignments, quizzes, exams, and language projects.
