Description

We are living through a time when the realities that shape the contours of culture and society have slipped out of place; systems that determine the patterns of our lives have abruptly become impermanent, if not obsolete.

When this happens, what is revealed that was invisible before?

What has life looked like for those suspended in times and cultures utterly different from our own?  What becomes of those who elect to make their lives outside the systems, or have no choice but to do so?  What impact might they have?

Dimensions cachées, réalités dévoilées will explore French and Francophone texts and films chosen for the ways in which they illuminate these questions, and their relevance to the trajectory of our own lives.

For information about the sequence of French language courses, please see the RLL Course Progress Chart.
