Courses in Japanese Studies
The Center for Japanese Studies (CJS) is a unit of the International Institute within the University of Michigan. CJS promotes and disseminates research on Japan, fosters communication among diverse disciplines, and encourages new approaches in the understanding of Japan and its place in the world. CJS offers an MA program in Japanese Studies. Undergraduates may pursue Japanese Studies through the Asian Studies concentration of the Department of Asian Languages and Cultures.
