WAITLIST POLICY FOR COURSES IN BIOLOGY, EEB, AND MCDB
If any Biology, Ecology or Evolutionary Biology (EEB) or Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB) course becomes full, students are strongly encouraged to use the waitlist. Overrides will be issued at the discretion of the instructor for a given course, prioritized by a combination of the student’s concentration, class schedule, and their order on the waitlist. Students on the waitlist must attend the first day of class or discussion and notify the instructor or GSI of their desire to enroll in the course. Students issued overrides will have 72 hours to register. The Registrar’s Office will clear waitlist of students’ names with expired overrides.
University of Michigan Biological Station
Students regularly say their spring or summer session at the U-M Biological Station was the best experience of their academic career. Consider taking one of our field-based courses taught from our lakeside campus in northern Michigan. Fulfill lab and field experience requirements while spending class time out-of-doors. U-M Financial Aid applies because we are a U-M program. Learn all about us at http://www.lsa.umich.edu/umbs/students/courses.
