Assistant Professor Paul Zimmerman was recognized with an Emerging Technologies in Computational Chemistry award from the American Chemical Society (ACS) Computational Chemistry division at the recent ACS conference. This award highlights novel technologies in computational chemistry and consists of seminar talks in a session at the ACS national meeting.  Zimmerman presented methods developed for predicting multi-step reaction mechanisms in stoichiometric and catalytic systems using automated, massively parallel, first principles simulations.
