Harriet received her A.B. in Classical Studies from the University of Chicago in 2008. She participated in the Epigraphy Summer Course at Ohio State University in 2009, and received a Rackham Graduate Student Research Grant to visit the archaeological sites on the Bay of Naples in 2010. Her research interests include the literature and political life of the late Republic and early Empire, Roman visual culture, and the relationship between public and private life in the ancient world.
