  I received my B.A. in Latin from Yale in 2008, although for my honors thesis I focused on
  versified Greek funerary inscriptions in Rome. My dissertation involves an examination of early
  Greek poetry in the broader context of early Mediterranean myth (especially Anatolian and
  Semitic) with a focus on conceptions of akosmia, particularly the literary and linguistic markers
  that herald both it and its resolution.
