  Erika earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, where she studied Classical Literature and Languages. Her honors thesis looked at the scenes inside of Troy in Iliad Z and the role of conversations with women in the characterization of Hector. After graduating with highest honors, she remained at UM to study in the Latin MAT program. Her dream job in a few years would be to head a Latin program in a high school, and begin a Greek program as well. While all things Homer remain dear to her heart, Cicero, Ovid, and a good cup of tea come in at a close second.
