  Amy coordinates student services for the Ph.D. Program including coordinating recruiting and admissions; monitoring Ph.D. students' progress and academic milestones; administering student financial aid for the department; funding for the Ph.D. Program; hiring Graduate Student Instructors (GSI) and graders; overseeing the department's participation in the Upper Level Writing Requirement (ULWR) with the Sweetland Writing Center; coordinating student's participation in summer training including advanced training in research methods and the Oxford Summer Programme in Comparative Media Law and Policy.
