  • About

Nicole Hentrich is interested in the articulation and representation of masculinities, male sexuality and masculine subjectivity in popular visual texts such as television. She is particularly interested in how these masculinities are being renegotiated in a post 9/11 cultural context as well as within a social context of increased gay male visibility in politics and entertainment. Nicole completed her undergraduate studies at Curtin University in Perth, Australia and is also a trained secondary school teacher who loves watching as much TV and as many movies as she can.
