    Kitior Ngu is a doctoral candidate and a Rackham Merit Fellow at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her research focuses on the nascent technologies that anchor social television, exploring the broader cultural, economic and technological implications of connected viewing practices for media workers and media audiences. Specifically, her dissertation project examines emerging social practices around digital media applications that inscribe upon the ways in which television is consumed, experienced and produced in the contemporary era.
