Provides administrative and calendar support to the Chair and Department Administrator. Supports faculty HR processes including leave requests, award nominations, and reviews. First point of contact for students, faculty, visitors and phone inquiries to the department. Assists in planning and coordinating meetings and other special events; processes P-card transactions related to these events. Maintains and updates department website, files, directories, bulletin boards, mailing lists, schedules and other information; sort mail; act as key operator for departmental copy and fax machines; maintain office supply inventory; schedule seminar/conference rooms; make deliveries to affiliated units and various University departments. Supervise work-study students(s) to assist in routine office functions.
