Ruth Greenfield, a southerner at heart, is from Georgia. I earned my Bachelor of Science at Paine College and Master of Science at the University of Missouri. Most of my career has been spent working with programs focused on recruitment, advisement and retention efforts within the University system. For me, there is tremendous satisfaction in helping students to reach their academic and career goals.
I have acquired work experience in Trio Programs (Upward Bound, Student Support Services, and Ronald E. McNair Post-baccalaureate Achievement Project) and a Minority Engineering Program. I bring a diversified background of culture and experiences from three schools: Southern Illinois University, Indiana State University and Arkansas State University. This is a great opportunity for me at Michigan to work with the CSP students. I am eager to assist students with their journey to success!
