Checking into Mary Markley Residence Hall :
Check in will be processed at Markley Residence Hall beginning at 9:00 a.m. Housing will be on hand to help with the registration; you have to check in at the Housing Information table immediately after entering Markley Residence Hall in order to receive your room assignment. Once you have completed the check-in process, you will be able to move into your room.
What to bring:
Be sure to bring soap, sheets, towels, pillows, blankets and pillow cases. A plastic pail with a handle makes carrying toiletries easier. You will need enough personal clothing to last from June 24 through August 14th. Many students find the following items essential: a calculator *, stereo, television, computer, high intensity lamp, laundry bag, beach thongs (for the shower), comfortable walking shoes, an alarm clock, a can opener, coat hangers, a drinking cup, a plate, eating utensils, an iron, an extension cord, a fan, and personal medication. Naturally, you will also need plenty of pencils, pens and notebooks. Students must provide their own towels, washcloths and bed linen.
* (Since most first and second year mathematics courses now require a specific graphics calculator--the Texas Instrument[TI 83]--we recommend your purchase of this particular model either before you arrive, or shortly thereafter.)
What not to Bring :
No pets are allowed in the residence halls. Fireworks, firearms and weapons of any kind are completely prohibited and possession of them could result in your dismissal from the university. Candles and open flame items, as well as most electrical appliances such as hot plates, toaster ovens, and oil popcorn poppers are also prohibited.

Check out the MyPlan site to check your account balance, or to purchase additional Blue Bucks.
Dining Dollars
Like Blue Bucks, Dining Dollars are loaded onto each student’s Mcard. Dining Dollars make it quick, easy, and convenient to purchase additional meals in Marketplace or to grab a snack, a cup of coffee or a meal to go at Victors. Dining Dollars are included in all meal plans for our residential students.
