  Assistant Professor Lori Diane Hill's research interests include education inequality and stratification, urban education, and South African education and social policy. Since 2001, she has been a postdoctoral fellow at U-M with the Ford Foundation Program in Research on Poverty, the Underclass, and Social Policy. Hill received her PhD from the University of Chicago.
