Courses for Fall 2001 Theme Semester

The Theme Semester courses will be offered in various departments and units of the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA). Classes will study Detroit specifically and will also examine broader topics in urban history and sociology, city planning, and the economics of the auto industry, among other topics. University Courses 375 “Detroit: Past, Present and Future” will serve as an “umbrella” course in LSA for the Theme Semester, and will remain open. All courses provide the intellectual support for a variety of activities developed by students, staff, and faculty.
