Joel Blum to Co-Edit Elementa, Science of the Anthropocene

Professor Joel D. Blum is Co-Editor-in-Chief of Elementa, Science of the Anthropocene a new journal publishing original research reporting on new knowledge of the Earth’s physical, chemical, and biological systems; interactions between human and natural systems; and steps that can be taken to mitigate and adapt to global change. The journal will report on fundamental advancements in research organized initially into six knowledge domains, embracing the concept that basic knowledge can foster sustainable solutions for society. Elementa is published on an open-access, public-good basis—available freely and immediately to the world.

Elementa is a non profit initiative supported by BioOne, Dartmouth, the Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Colorado Boulder, the University of Michigan, and the University of Washington. The support of these collaborators ensures that a focus on the publication of timely, high quality research to advance the intellectual agenda of science.
