Credit Value Partners, LP
Mr. Pollard is the Managing Partner of Credit Value Partners and a Portfolio Manager of the Candlewood Credit Value Fund II, Credit Value Partners Distressed Duration Fund and Credit Value Fund III. Mr. Pollard was previously the Head of the Credit Suisse Credit Investments Group ("CIG"), overseeing its $17 billion of non-investment grade credit investment portfolios. As the Head of CIG, Mr. Pollard was also a Co-Portfolio Manager of the Candlewood Special Situations Fund and Candlewood Credit Value Fund I. Prior to managing CIG, Mr. Pollard was the Co-Head of Credit Suisse's Global Leveraged Finance Group, which was the market leader in trading Leveraged Loans, High Yield Bonds and Distressed Debt. Before joining Credit Suisse in November 2000, Mr. Pollard had various roles in Performing and Distressed Credit Trading including Co-Founder and Co-Head of the Leveraged Loan Group and Distressed Debt Group at DLJ, Head of European Distressed Loan Trading at Citicorp Securities and Co-Head of Distressed Loan Trading at Jefferies & Co. and Continental Bank. Mr. Pollard is the former Chairman of the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (“LSTA”). Mr. Pollard, a CFA, received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan.
