Credit Value Partners, LP

Donald E. Pollard has recently started Credit Value Partners, LP.  Prior to that, he was a managing director of Credit Suisse and the head of the credit investments vertical of the Alternative Investments group within the Asset Management division.  He has managerial oversight of the Leveraged Investments Group and was the co-head of Candlewood Capital Partners.

Pollard joined Credit Suisse in November 2000 when the Bank merged with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), where he was a managing director and co-head of the Leveraged Loan Group.  Pollard joined DLJ in 1996 from Citicorp Securities where he was head of European Loan and Distressed Trading.  Prior to that, Pollard was head of Loan and Distressed Trading at Jefferies and Company and Continental Bank.

Pollard is a former chairman of The Loan Syndications and Trading Association.  He serves on the Corporate Advisory Board for the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
