Jordan Dickstein is currently executive director at Morgan Stanley and joined the firm in October of 2008. (This includes years at Smith Barney affiliates and predecessor firms.) Previously, he was a senior vice president at UBS Financial Services. Beginning in 1987, he was a financial advisor with Kidder Peabody (later bought by UBS).
From 1989-1991, Dickstein served as the national marketing director of financial products, including alternative investments, estate planning, and insurance and annuity products. In 1991, he was a senior vice president and became manager of the Equity Syndicate Desk, and was responsible for the sale, marketing, and distribution of over 300 initial public offerings and secondary offerings during that period.
He returned to a financial advisory role in 1995, focusing on investment management and asset allocation. In 2008, Dickstein was recognized by Registered Rep Magazine (September 2008) as one of America’s top 100 investment advisors with assets of $1 billion.
He holds an MBA in finance from Fordham University. He is currently involved with the Diabetes Research Institute and the United Jewish Appeal charities, as well as being a past volunteer with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of NYC. He is also a member of the Bladder Cancer Awareness Network (BCAN) Leadership Council, and is a member of the University of Michigan Dean's Advisory Council. He resides in New York City with his wife and two children.
