Meg Gibson is a partner in the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis, where she represents private equity funds, financial institutions and corporations in complex business transactions, with particular focus on private equity and mezzanine investments, leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, private placements, and fund formations.

 

At Kirkland, Ms. Gibson serves on the Finance Committee and Partner Review Committee, chairs the Budget Sub-Committee, and is an editor of The Kirkland Private Equity Newsletter.  Ms. Gibson graduated from Northwestern University School of Law in 1987 and The University of Michigan in 1984, with majors in both English and Economics.

 

Ms. Gibson is also a Board Member of The Illinois and National Gift of Adoption Fund, General Counsel and Member of the Executive Board of Kenilworth Union Church, and a Foundation Board Member of The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
