Michael Beauregard is a Senior Partner and Investment Committee Member at Huron Capital Partners, LLC. Founded in 1999 and based in Detroit, Michigan and Toronto, Ontario, Huron Capital is an operationally focused private equity firm with a successful track record of developing and growing lower middle-market companies. The firm sponsors management buyouts, buy & build strategies, corporate carve-outs, family succession transactions, and recapitalizations of niche manufacturing, specialty service, and value-added distribution companies having revenues up to $200 million. The firm has made over 60 control investments in the United States and Canada in a variety of areas, including document management, education, healthcare products & services, specialty chemicals, specialty packaging, consumer products & apparel, home décor, engineering services, food & beverages, office furniture components, and laboratory testing.
Prior to Huron, Beauregard was Vice President, Finance & Investments for Duchossois Enterprises, a privately held conglomerate of operating and private equity investment companies with controlling interests in consumer products, transportation, and entertainment companies with aggregate revenues exceeding $2 billion.
Prior to Duchossois, Beauregard was a Managing Director at Macam Corporation (affiliated with First Chicago Equity Capital) and a Principal with Japonica Partners jointly serving as Vice President, Strategic Planning for its portfolio company, Sunbeam Corporation.
Beauregard holds an MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business (University of Pittsburgh) and JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
