About Gary Solon
Professor Solon received his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 1983. Since then he has taught labor economics and econometrics at the University of Michigan. His current research interests include cyclical fluctuations in the
labor market, income dynamics over the life cycle, effects of family and community background on economic status, and applied microeconometrics.
