Mary B. is responsible for managing the administrative aspects of the Department’s Ph.D. program. She solicits applications for all Graduate Student Instructor positions (fall, winter, and spring/summer terms), assigns positions based on departmental rules and budget and coordinates hiring paperwork each term. She maintains records on the progress of all doctoral students, administers the fellowship programs available for Economics doctoral students and is the department’s liaison with Rackham Graduate School.
