  Brian McCall research interests include applied econometrics, econometrics theory, economics of education and education policy, research design and quasi-experimental research, labor economics, social insurance, and health economics.  Dr. McCall is currently studying the effects of financial aid on college outcomes, the incentive effects of unemployment insurance in both the United States and Canada, and dispute resolution in workers' compensation.
