Stefan Nagel is Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics, and Donald C. Cook Professor of Business Administration and Professor of Finance at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. His research interests include empirical asset pricing, subjective beliefs and risk preferences in finance and macroeconomics, and financial crises. He is a Research Associate with the National Bureau for Economic Research in Cambridge, MA, a Research Fellow with the Centre of Economic Policy Research in London, UK. Stefan is an Associate Editor at the Journal of Finance, the Review of Asset Pricing Studies, and the Review of Finance. He has been a recipient of the Smith-Breeden and Fama-DFA best paper awards of the Journal of Finance and the Journal of Financial Economics.
