Professor Stolyarov's primary research interests are macroeconomic theory and growth theory, with the focus on micro-founded dynamic modeling and testing models with micro data. One of his current research programs is to establish links between firm-level value and growth dynamics and the time path for aggregate asset prices, with particular attention to the value of intangible capital. Another program is to develop and quantitatively evaluate life-cycle models that explicitly consider multi-person households and analyze consumption-saving decisions jointly with labor supply and human capital accumulation choices of household members.
