    Julian's main interests are in Economics of Education and Labor Economics. He uses concepts and methods from Industrial Organization, to incorporate incorporate learning and human capital accumulation mechanisms into single agent dynamic models. His current research looks at University of Michigan students' major and course choices. He received his Bachelor of Science with Honors in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 2011. As a graduate student, he worked with administrative student data records for Professors Susan Dynarski and Brian Jacob to evaluate Michigan charter schools. He is a Junior Fellow at the University of Michigan’s Learning Analytics Fellows program.
