Fields of Study Comparative Economic Systems About Morris Bornstein Professor Bornstein’s publications include books and articles on the comparison of economic systems, the economies of the former Soviet Union and Central and Eastern Europe, and East-West economic relations. His recent work deals with the transition from socialist planned economies to capitalist market economies, particularly the process and outcome of privatization.
